Korean clinics most often use domestically manufactured Osstem, Dentium or MegaGen fixtures, with Straumann and Nobel Biocare available at a premium. The fixture brand should be stated on your treatment plan because your home dentist will need it for any future repair.

Bone grafting adds cost and time and is needed more often in long-standing extraction sites. A cone beam CT scan at consultation is the only way to know in advance, and reputable clinics perform one before quoting.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a dental implant cost in Korea?

Domestic fixture systems run roughly 800,000 to 1,500,000 KRW per tooth including the crown. Imported Swiss or Swedish systems run 1,800,000 to 2,500,000 KRW. Bone grafting is charged separately.

What if my implant has a problem after I go home?

Ask for the fixture brand, diameter, length and lot number in writing. Any dentist worldwide can service a major system with that information, and Osstem and Dentium have international distribution.
